I have been using iPhone 8 since September 2017 without any eye strain, until I updated the phone to iOS 14. It gave me instant eye strain. After that I downgraded back to iOS 13.7 and the eye strain immediately went away. I use my phone a lot, about 7-10 hours a day.
I love this phone. I can use it all day without any issues
