Huawei p20 is a nice phone, but after using it for a while I started getting watery eyes and pain. I thought my issue was OLED, but looks like LTPS is not for me either.
I also have eyestrain troubles with modern smartphones and I bought this phone a few months ago hoping it would be okay since it has a non-OLED screen with zero PWM flicker. But unfortunately the screen still hurts my eyes. The motion of animations and scrolling are stuttery (perhaps due to dated Kirin 960) and there are moderate ghosting trials whilst scrolling. I sold the device soon afterwards. It's a nice phone, great camera and build quality, but I wouldn't recommend due to the display.
